We all waited impatiently for the MX-5 reveal and all it did was leave us with questions. The biggest question that follows any convertible reveal is; how does it look with its top up?

Today my twitter feed brought me my first glimpse of the 2016 Miata with the soft-top up.
The following images come to us thanks to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
It appears a small Roadster club received a private reveal. Here we see the new MX-5 draped in the familiar red cover.

The crowd gathers as the cover is removed.

I like it. I had been worried it would look to small with the new wider looking fenders.I was worried it would look like a Lexus 430 SC with a too small of a top.

Wow, that top is tiny. I like it, though. And I think I'm warming up to the headlights. I like the look from above better.

10/10 would buy if I had a spare 25-30k$ laying around.
This may not be a popular opinion, but I think I like it better top up.

I always worry when a new drop top débuts. ie The Camaro in my opinion looks crappy with the top up. Around here that's half the year automatically. I'd like to see an optional hard top, but this soft one looks good.

Having been exposed to the marvelous retractable hardtops, those canvas tops look lame and ungainly. People don't like going backwards. It's like being told to use a slide rule instead of a calculator.
